Ronald B. Liedle, 71, of Aberdeen, SD, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022, at his home in Aberdeen, SD.

Ronald B. Liedle was born on April 19, 1951, to Raymond and Viola (Diede) Liedle in Rural Leola, SD.  He spent his childhood there. After Ronald’s special needs required more than his family could provide, he was admitted to the Developmental Center in Redfield on April 6, 1963.

Ronald later moved to Aberdeen with his family to receive services with Aspire (formerly Adjustment Training Center), on January 30, 2001. Ronald then began working with Aspire doing assembly work.  He enjoyed this and continued doing this for many years.  He lived in various residential settings, (1124 S High, Melgaard, and lived his remaining years at 702 South Kline.

Ronald briefly attempted working on a contract for 3M tape but preferred the retired life. Ronald also loved to go for car rides in the country with his dad in earlier years, and later the Aspire van. He also enjoyed playing connect four, playing catch with his housemates, and loved playing any type of game.

Grateful for having shared Ronald’s life is his one sister, Sandra Jankord, and several cousins.

Ronald was preceded in death by his brother Russell Liedle who passed on February 24, 2008, and his parents.
