Norma Wolff, 92, of Aberdeen, SD, died Saturday, July 16, at Angelhaus, Aberdeen, SD.

Norma Nilsson was born June 27, 1930, to Elmer Gertrude (Gubin) Nilsson in Aberdeen. She grew up in the Bath area and graduated from Bath High School.

Norma married Aubrey Wolff on July 2, 1960. They made their home in Aberdeen. Norma worked for Indian Health Services and retired in 1985. Aubrey passed away on March 4, 2011.

Norma was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church, NARFE, and she helped deliver Meals on Wheels for several years. She loved to play bridge and belonged to several bridge groups. Norma loved traveling with Aubrey, and riding horses and snowmobiles. They had a hobby farm for many years.

Grateful for having shared Norma’s life are her sons: Larry Gates and Ronald (Diana) Gates; her stepson: Dennis (Sheila) Wolff; two daughters-in-law: Laura Gates and Karin Wolff; grandchildren: Kim Williams, Jennifer (Brian) Speer, Cory Wolff, Tanner Wolff, Steven Gates, and Michael Gates; great-grandchildren: Becky Sharbono, Holly (Jeremy) Hunter, Hannah Speer, Abigail Speer, Megan Speer, Amber Speer, and Emma Wolff; two great-great-grandchildren: Kinsley Hunter and Camden Hunter; and her sisters: Doreen Henry and Mavis Snover.

Preceding Norma in death are her husband Aubrey Wolff; parents Elmer and Gertrude; stepson Gary Wolff; her grandson Jacob Wolff; and her sister Donna Seding.
