Kevin D. Brick was born on March 23, 1967, in Fargo, North Dakota. At an early age, he was adopted by his aunt. He grew up in Aberdeen and attended school there, graduating from Aberdeen Central High School in 1985. After graduation, he attended Northern State University for a short time. Kevin briefly worked at Sooper Stop before moving to Jamestown, where he managed stores until returning to Aberdeen in 1990. He worked at Herberger’s for a short time before beginning his longtime career at House of Glass.

On August 21, 1987, Kevin married Jolene Ferguson, and together they had two children, Justin and Tyler. Kevin and Jolene enjoyed camping with their family, attending Downtown Concerts, and going to We Fest.

Kevin enjoyed old cars, especially square-body Chevys. He bowled in the Huff N’ Puff League and played softball when he was younger. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Timberwolves and enjoyed listening to live music. Kevin was calm and quiet, always willing to help anyone in need. He was dedicated to his job and enjoyed playing practical jokes on others.

Grateful for having shared Kevin’s life are his wife Jolene Brick; sons Justin (Halie) Brick and Tyler Brick; and grandchildren, Eris & Odessa.

Preceding Kevin in death are his father, Michael Battey; adoptive mother, Shirley Brick; father-in-law: Larry Ferguson.
