Raymond H. Maisch, 83, of Aberdeen and formerly of Groton, died Monday, January 8, 2018.

Raymond H. Maisch was born February 12, 1934 to Gust and Emily (Aman) Maisch in Hosmer, SD. He grew up in Hosmer but spent his teen years in Stratford, SD. While in the Army, he was a boxer.

In 1958, Raymond was united in marriage to Mary Ann Dolney. From that marriage they welcomed five children while making their home in Aberdeen. My Heartfelt condolences to all of you in Ray’s family. He was such a dear man and always a thrill to visit when I came to Aberdeen in the last few years. Sorry I never got to know his children. I knew his parents and brother and sisters very well, but the only one I had recent contact with is Bernice. Hope this finds all of you adjusting to your loss, and God Bless You All!
